Holiday Market Faire Prince William Fairgrounds, Manassas Virginia
This is a SCA shopping event. It's a wonderful opportunity to get anything and everything you need for the medievalist on your gift list. And of course, you might even find a few things for yourself. We'll have mead kits and Tuatha will be sharing our space and of course, there will be lots of pots, including our steampunk pottery. So all you northern Virginia folks, this is your chance. It's the only time we'll be on your side of the river this holiday shopping season. Come take advantage of us!
Please note: this is a SCA event and thus if you show up in street clothes you will be permitted to pay the $10 site fee but you will probably also be subjected to an enthusiastic recruitment spiel from well meaning SCAdains.

March 11 thru 18 2012 Gulf Wars XXI Kings Arrow Ranch Lumberton Mississippi
This is an awesome event! Last year was the 6th for Dancing Pig and my 5rd time down there! I love it!!! In 2007, i had a conversion experience all over again! It reminded me of why i fell in love with the SCA & medieval reenactment lo these many years ago. If you are SCAdian & you haven't been to Gulf Wars yet, stop putting it off & come on down! The weather is great, the folks couldn't be friendlier, the shopping's awesome, there's this bakery on site... can you tell i love it?! They even have horses! And dogs! Now, if i could only get them to let me bring MY dogs, this would be the perfect event!
please note: this is a members only, camping event. You must pay for the entire week, no matter how long you stay. You must be in garb at all times.

We'll be in the Hysterical, err, Historic Re-enactment area. It's a great good time- come find out for yourself! (& buy some pottery while you're at it!)

Good pots, great energy, a wonderful way to formally celebrate the arrival of Spring- we hope to see you there!

May 5 & 6 Dancing Pig will be making a guest appearance IN Tuatha's Booth* at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. I usually have to miss this excellent show because it conflicts with my beloved Spoutwood Fairie Festival, but this year i get to get my fiber on! So, we'll have lots of knitting bowls for sale at Tuatha, and i'll be there as well, in between bouts of shopping. If you have any interest in yarn or the fiber arts, you need to come to this amazing show. There's free parking and free admission and you will need to bring all your cash, cause you'll find all sorts of things you didn't know existed and now can't possibly live without. I'm just sayin'
*that's TUATHA not Dancing Pig Pottery. We'll have lots of knitting bowls but also a whole lot of other awesome Celtic Loot for sale.
